Time to get gorgeous with your tablescape skills!

During this make & take workshop, you'll sip on mimosas and get creative while Julia guides you through the design basics of floral arranging and centerpiece building. Students will learn her foam-free technique for making a full, natural looking centerpiece using an array of unique blooms and foliage. Julia will share her tips and tricks for composing arrangements with color, texture, and personal style. We'll also learn more about her flower farm in Detroit, her favorite flowers, and where she sources her gorgeous supplies.

Everyone will take home their own unique centerpiece in a perfect vessel! These modern ceramic vases are handcrafted by Carrie Hause, of Held Ceramics, in her studio in Hamtramck. Held pottery features a unique surface decoration that provides a tactile experience in addition to visual, encouraging your hands to enjoy each ware as much as the eyes.
